SALISBURY City Under-16s rallied to a 3-2 win over Evo Bath at a wet and windy Bulford 3G pitch.

Joe Banks put the visitors ahead but Whites fought back when George Higgins threaded Ryan Penny through to level matters.

Michael Olufeko, on his debut, delivered for George Higgins who kept his head and finished well to put Salisbury 2-1 up at half time.

In the second half, Evo took control and Salisbury were saved, on occasions, by the crossbar and the mitts of Liam Gibbens.

Their pressure paid off when Shea Bennington-Manning restored parity.

The final 15 minutes could have swayed either way but it was Whites who snatched a winner.

Salisbury attacked down the left with Theo Wolfarth and the ball finally found its way to Louis Rendall whose shot was tipped over the bar by the impressive Adam Forster. From the resulting corner, Higgins finished to give Salisbury all three points.
