ROVING gymnasts tested their skills at a primary school festival.

The six stations included group balances, the trampette, vaulting, beam, rhythmic gymnastics - hoop, ball and ribbons - and the inflatable tumble track.

Avon Valley College held the festival at Amesbury Sport Centre in which the girls and boys' events were split into two categories, hard and easy.

Amesbury Primary School bagged the top three spots in the girls' hard category; Yasmin, Megan and Imogen.

And in the easy section, Shrewton's Miloni came first followed by Netheravon's Amelie.

The boys' hard category was won by Liam, from Netheravon, while in the easy class Durrington Juniors scooped all three spots, thanks to Pacey, Charlie and Ben.

The overall team winners of the hard event were Durrington Juniors while Amesbury Primary won the easy section.
