SALISBURY City Under-16s' 100 per cent record was wrecked as they bowed out of the Junior Premier League Cup following a 3-2 defeat.
Sandiacre became the first team to beat the Whites all season in the last 16 thanks to a Charlie Goodwin hat-trick.
The visitors started brightly and put Salisbury on the backfoot from the off.
And they were rewarded with a well-taken goal from Goodwin.
Salisbury were struggling to find any rhythm but managed to muster an equaliser from Liam Greenough before the visitors restored their cushion through Goodwin.
The teenager struck again for number three, this time from the spot.
A wonder strike from Theo Wolfarth halved the deficit to give Whites a glimmer of hope of completing the comeback, but it was too little too late.
