SOUTH Wilts Cricket Club will be holding a cricket course during the Easter school holidays.

The course is open to all boys and girls aged six to 14 years old, and will involve activities such as fielding, batting and bowling practices and games, group and net coaching, team games and competitions.

There will be a minimum of two qualified ECB coaches at each.

Salisbury and South Wilts Sports Club, Wilton Road is the venue from Monday, April 4 to Wednesday, April 6, 9am to 1pm.

There also places available for children to take part in the 2016 Summer Community Cricket Programme at the Lower Bemerton club.

The ten-week course is open to boys between the ages of six to years old (school years 1 to 4) and to girls between the ages of six and 11 years old (school years 1 to 6).

The course introduces children to cricket in a fun environment.

The sessions take place at South Wilts' ground each Monday, starting April 25 from 6.15pm to 7.30pm.

There are only 40 spaces available and they will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
