SUNDAY saw the South Wilts Youth Soccer season draw to a close with a tournament.
The Under-9 and 10 plate and cup finals were held at Laverstock FC in great conditions.
In game one, Durrington Under-9 destroyers beat fellow village side Bulldogs 7-1.
The Under-10 Plate was wrapped up by Sarum, who ran out 3-0 victors over Durrington Challengers.
In the Under-9 Cup final, which was the tightest game of the day, Salisbury United, whose side comprised many under-8s, beat Salisbury City on penalties 3-1.
And the final game saw Alderbury Panthers' single goal in the first half enough to defeat Amesbury.
Organiser Karen Musselwhite said: "It was a fabulous display of football from the teams."
"The league are now looking for any age groups to join this league for next season."
