Personal bests clocked as South Wilts seal sixth place at nationals
SOUTH Wilts Grammar School claimed sixth in the finals of the English Schools Athletics' Association (ESSA) track and field cup.
Competing at Bedford International Athletics stadium, the junior girls' team racked up seven personal bests.
PE teachers Jo Hole and Hayley Marsh were delighted with the efforts of the students.
They said: "Among the team, there were seven personal bests on the day plus Molly broke the event record for the javelin and they scored the highest number of team points than the other rounds so we couldn’t have asked for more."
