THERE were high fives for Alderbury Warriors after romping to a 5-0 win over Durrington.

Braces from Luke Philp and Andy Cutler, plus one from George Milton, lifted them into second in Testway Youth Football League.

The opener came on 12 minutes when a super corner from Milton landed in the perfect spot for Philp to head home his first goal for Alderbury.

The goal saw the team grow in confidence and it wasn't long before Warriors doubled their lead, Philp on target again. Andy Cutler made it 3-0 a minute later.

In the second half, Warriors missed a number of chances to score until ten minutes in when George Milton majestically smashed the ball into the net making it four - just reward for his dangerous corners and goal assists.

Cutler then deservedly added his second of the match and Alderbury's fifth.

Elsewhere, Alderbury Under-16s had their first taste of defeat this season away at Amesbury.

Despite goals from Ryan Payne and Elias Saykouk, the team lost 5-2.

And Alderbury Dragons edged a seven-goal thriller with Sway.

After going 2-0 down, Alderbury's team spirit saw them level at 2-2 at half time. They took the lead in second half only for Sway to equalise. Alderbury had the last say scoring a decisive fourth to claim an epic 4-3 win.
