KATY Cutler helped South West water polo team retain their title in the ASA U18 Girls Inter-Regional Championships this weekend.
After four easy pool group wins over Scotland, North East, North West Thunder and East Angels, the defending champions faced the South East in the semi-finals at Palatine Leisure Centre, Blackpool.
A blistering 12-1 victory took them to the final against North West Lightning, who were keen to seek revenge for last year's defeat.
SW took an early which they held until half time.
After the break, NW fired two goals before SW equalised prior to the final minute bell.
The score remained 2-2 at the final whistle as the game was settled in a penalty shootout.
Four goals from SW, including one from Cutler, sealed a 6-3 victory.
