Prince is to appear on an American talk show
Prince is continuing to ramp up his public profile by agreeing to appear on a US chat show.
The Purple Rain singer - who has been back in the spotlight recently - is to appear on America's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
A rep for the late-night show confirmed the pop legend will be on the show on Friday March 1 and will perform two songs. It's not clear whether he'll perform new material or some of his classics.
The low-key star has been back in public eye of late, presenting the record of the year trophy at the Grammys, and releasing the song Screwdriver on his new website.
Prince is also due to perform several dates in Europe this summer.
