Gervais reprises David Brent role
9:56am Thursday 28th February 2013 in National Entertainment News © Press Association 2013
Ricky Gervais is bringing back David Brent for a one-off Comic Relief special.
Viewers will see the star's famous alter ego from breakthrough hit The Office try to become a Simon Cowell-type music mogul in the show.
The Slough manager, famous for his "Fact" catchphrase and crazy dance moves, will be seen attempting to break urban act Dom Johnson in The Office Revisited.
Viewers last saw Brent in two Office Christmas Specials in December 2003.
Ricky told The Sun: "I thought it was time to revisit my most famous comedy creation to find out what he's been up to for the last decade and, most importantly, what he's up to now.
"He is passing on his wisdom to younger would-be rock stars now. Well, really he is trying to worm his way back into rock and roll."
The Office Revisited, made as part of BBC Comic Relief, airs on March 15.
