Dancing On Ice finalist Luke Campbell has admitted the show puts pressure on the relationships of contestants.
The 25-year-old Olympic boxer from Hull has two sons with his childhood sweetheart Lynsey Kraanen, but has been spending most of his time training with professional skater Jenna Smith for the ITV show.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's final, Luke said: "You spend a lot of time with your [skating] partners, so obviously it will put a strain on your relationship. Everybody's a human being.
"But it's just a game show at the end of the day and that's just it."
Some fans have talked of the show being cursed because so many people taking part have suffered break-ups.
The show has seen romance blossom for Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie and professional partner Sylvain Longchambon as they grew close working together on the show. But only after Sylvain split from Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe, whom he met when she competed on the show in 2011.
Gymnast Beth Tweddle has split from her boyfriend of three years since the series began, and fellow finalist Matt Lapinskas has split from his former EastEnders co-star Shona McGarty. Even coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, who have skated together for 37 years, recently admitted they did once have a fling while they were working so closely together.
Matt insisted he is not letting his split distract him from the competition.
He said: "I'm quite a focused guy and I dedicate myself 100 per cent, so I'm still dedicating myself to what I do. I'm pushing on."
