Homeland: Hunt for Brody is on
Homeland series three plot details have emerged and it looks like the hunt is on for Brody.
The Damian Lewis and Claire Danes drama returns for a third series later this year and Showtime, the US channel who make the programme, have spilled some of the storyline, according to Digital Spy.
Apparently the new series will feature a "global manhunt for the world's most wanted terrorist" Nicholas Brody, played by The Forsyte Saga's Damian.
A Showtime release said: "As Carrie (Claire Danes) and Saul (Mandy Patinkin) begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody's whereabouts."
Emmy award winner Homeland follows mentally ill spy Carrie's attempts to uncover the truth about war hero Brody's past.
Other cast members confirmed to return in series three are Morena Baccarin (Jess Brody), Rupert Friend (Quinn), Jackson Pace (Chris Brody) and Morgan Saylor (Dana Brody).
David Marciano (Virgil) and Diego Klattenhoff (Mike) won't be back as regulars but could make some one-off appearances.
Homeland will cover 12 episodes again and is due to be aired on Channel 4 shortly after it is shown in the US at the end of September.
Damian, 42, can be seen in Romeo And Juliet later this year with Douglas Booth and Hailee Steinfeld.
Claire Danes also has a film out this year, comedy As Cool As I Am.
