Kidman and Farrell at charity lunch
Nicole Kidman was one of the A-listers attending the Hollywood Foreign Press Association luncheon in Beverly Hills
Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell are among the stars who attended a glitzy event in Los Angeles.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association luncheon saw celebrities accept 1.6 million dollars in cheques on behalf of charities.
Other stars at the event included Vin Diesel, Liam Hemsworth, Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Diane Kruger, The Wrap reported.
Referring to a few botched speeches, Jonah got a laugh when he said: "If anything's been made clear to me here today, it's that not a single actor in Hollywood can read."
Vin told the audience how he saved up 47,000 dollars from a telemarketing job to make the film Strays, which sparked the attention of Robert Redford and led to an invite to Sundance in 1997 as a director/writer/star.
"(Sundance) is the only reason I have the luxury to stand before all of you. Otherwise, I'd still be a bouncer in New York," he said.
