Diesel: The future is my world
Vin Diesel has said that he never reflects on his career because he's too excited about what the future holds.
The award-winning action man has starred in and produced movies such as Fast And Furious and Riddick, and was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
But he said: "I don't know if I take that much time to look back because I'm literally always looking forward. I'm always thinking forward and thinking ahead, and there are always so many riddles on the table."
The 46-year-old added: "I never just sit back and go, 'Whoa, can you believe that?' That would seem pointless to me."
Vin - whose real name is Mark Sinclair - has reprised his breakthrough role as Riddick in the third instalment.
Part of the film was shot in a train depot in Montreal, where 300 was also filmed.
"We didn't think of it as a challenge. We were actually stoked because the last time the structure was going to be destroyed, another film came in and shot there and that was 300. So we felt there was good luck in that depot," he explained.
"We felt like we were the next people that were stopping it being destroyed and by the grace of God and at the last minute, we were able to shoot there. We were excited and ecstatic about it."
Vin said his alter-ego Riddick isn't having an easy time in the follow-up, after he was betrayed by the Necromongers and left for dead on a desolate planet.
"Apparently it's not working out too well for him. In his gut, he knows he's got to move on. On a basic level, he needs to gain back his animal side," he revealed.
