No Heat sequel for Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock has insisted she will not star in a sequel to her buddy cop movie The Heat.
The Oscar-winning actress had a hit with the comedy this summer, but admitted she wouldn't risk making a follow up in case it wasn't as good.
Sandra, who has previously starred in sequels to her films Speed and Miss Congeniality, told The Wrap: "I'm not doing a sequel to The Heat. I've done two sequels. They were horrible."
But the 49-year-old said she would love to work with her Heat co-star Melissa McCarthy again.
"What Melissa and I had was beautiful. We might do another film together. I think we should do a silent film together," said the star, whose latest film Gravity is garnering awards buzz.
The Heat director Paul Feig has indicated he will make a follow-up but admitted it would be tough to do it without Sandra and Melissa, who played mismatched detectives in the first film.
"It would be very hard," he said. "They're so great together. Their chemistry is so awesome. I would be very sad if I didn't have both of them back."
