Grim for Grimshaw's football team
Nick Grimshaw discovered that life's a pitch when his celebrity football team lost on penalties to a side put together by Olly Murs.
The BBC Radio One DJ swapped his studio microphone for the manager's role in the dug-out at Wembley Stadium this morning, with Greg James helping to host his usual breakfast show while Guy Mowbray and former England star Michael Owen supplied the commentary.
The 3-3 draw was an improvement on the last game, when Grimshaw's team - dubbed the Radio One-derers lost 11-1 to the X Factor singer's Tottenham Hot-Murs.
Celebrity players included former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright, comic John Bishop, Alan Shearer and singer James Arthur, whose penalty miss condemned Grimshaw's team to defeat.
The DJ said he was disappointed to lose but said he still planned to celebrate the improved result, saying: "I' m so laddy I'm going to drink a beer and make out with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
"I s that what lads do?"
He also promised he would get revenge on boyband Lawson after singer Andy Brown scored his penalty, saying: "They' 'll never be played on Radio One after that, they've just confirmed it."
