Sarah Jessica Parker has given hope to Sex And The City fans that there may be one more film in the series left to come.
The actress, who starred as Carrie Bradshaw in six series of the TV show and two spin-off films, told InStyle that she thought there could still be more of the story to tell.
According to E! she told the magazine: "A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell.
"But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever. I don't want to have to wear muumuus!"
Recently, Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York, also told Haute Living that she thought a third film was a possibility.
She said: "I don't think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there is discussion. People talk about it amongst the people who are the players, but I don't know if it will come together. It would be very exciting if it did."
But Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda Hobbs, was less enthusiastic, saying: "I think it's fine to let it go."
Kristin responded to Cynthia's comment in her Haute Living interview, saying: "I'm going to have a little talk with Cynthia the next time I see her!"
