Torvill and Dean: We never argue
Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean claim they have never fallen out in all the time they have been skating together.
The Dancing On Ice stars and Olympic champions were first partnered together in 1975, almost 40 years ago. The pair retired from professional skating in 1998 and have announced that after the final series of the ITV skating show they will retire for good.
But Christopher told The Sun: "I don't think we've ever had a falling out. Not a real one."
Jayne added: "Now we have these moments on the ice when we start to disagree with each other. But then we look at each other and say, 'I can't be bothered, you win'."
The pair are both in relationships, and had never been romantically linked, until last year Christpher confessed they had "dabbled" in their teenage years.
Jayne said: "I couldn't believe of all the words he used, 'dabble'. But it's fun.
"Someone said to me afterwards, 'Are you glad it's out in the open now?' I don't know or care really."
Christopher added: "I don't regret saying it."
Next week the pair will travel to Sarajevo in Bosnia, the site of their 1984 Olympics win, to recreate the Bolero for the very last time.
Christopher said: "We didn't want to wake up and be told we weren't wanted. To end on a high is an important personal thing for us."
