Robbie Williams's used jockstrap is being auctioned off.

The Angels singer's protective piece, which he wore in the Sing When You're Winning music video and is autographed, has been offered for sale by Australian auction house Leonard Joel.

Bidding for the intimate garment began at £330, despite there being no mention as to whether it had been cleaned, reported The Sun.

A source said: "It's definitely one of the most unique pieces of music memorabilia which has come up for sale in recent years. Who knows what the buyer will decide to do with it."

The jockstrap, which was worn by Robbie on the cover of his third album Sing When You're Winning, features the singer's autograph on the waistband in red felt tip.

It previously went under the hammer in 2001 and 2006.
