Katherine Jenkins has confessed she is feeling broody and can't wait to start a family.
The 33-year-old Welsh singer - who recently announced her engagement to American filmmaker and artist Andrew Levitas - became an auntie to her younger sister Laura's baby son Rhys two weeks ago, and it has made her realise how much she wants children of her own.
Katherine told Wales Online: " Am I broody? I've always wanted to have a family and now I see how happy my sister and her husband are. It makes you realise that these are the important things in life. It's a real gift to have them so of course."
The classical singer added of Rhys: "He's adorable - we're all besotted. He's very, very cute. I've been dressing him up and have bought him a pair of tiny baby Converse so he's already had his first pair of trainers. I've not changed any of his nappies yet but I'm alright at doing that job."
Katherine is busy working on a new album and rehearsing ahead of a live show in Wales this summer, but she is also trying to plan her wedding.
She revealed: "We're still in discussion about the wedding. We got engaged in April and I have a big schedule in the run-up to the launch of my new album (in November). We're working out when we can do it and then it will all fit into place.
"There are the two sides of the family and people will have to travel. At the moment we still don't know where the location will be.
"I've no plans to move to America. I've always said the UK is my home and I really want to live here. But now I have a nice reason to travel to America - for work and now to visit family over there."
