Mariah Carey has revealed the title of her new single will be called Obsessed.

MTV News reports the star took to her Twitter account to tell fans the news.

"The first single from my new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel is called Obsessed and will be at radio next Tuesday," she Tweeted.

"I'm a lil' exc(ited). Seriously, this is one of my favourite songs ever. I love the whole album. I'm completely immersed in it. I can't wait for you to hear it."

Not many details of Mariah's new record have been released, but back in January the songwriter/ producer The-Dream revealed he'd been working on some tracks with the singer.

"I love her, she's everything," he said about Mariah. "She's down, she's cool, she gets it. You think she's this big, but she gets it. She's all the way in there.

"I told her we need to get back in there. It's not like it used to be where you can wait to come out with an album. I'm like, 'Let's go, let's do it!' And she's up for it."
