Jodie Whittaker might have starred alongside some of the most famous actors in Hollywood, but she was "gutted" to have missed scenes with David Tennant in her latest film.
The actress can list Peter O'Toole, Rupert Everett, Viggo Mortensen and Colin Firth as co-stars but reckons not having scenes with Doctor Who star Tennant in St Trinian's 2 was a bitter blow.
She said: "Rupert and Colin are great but I was gutted that I wasn't in any of the scenes with David Tennant so I haven't met him - I might skulk up to him later and say 'Oh, hi, nice to meet you!'"
The Brit flick stars Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding in her first major film role and Jodie gave her performance the thumbs up.
She said: "You can't tell, she's brilliant. She's obviously been in the media for so long and she's done so much filming anyway with music videos. She was great."
Asked if Sarah could have a future without Girls Aloud, she said: "I don't think she has to worry too much... what, are they splitting up? Don't break that news to me on the red carpet - I'll be crying all the way down."
Jodie also revealed filming is not always as glamorous as it sounds.
"There were some scenes that were humiliating to film," she said. "Like dancing in Liverpool Street station in spray tan, because I'm obviously the whitest pastiest person ever and my character's got like ten ton of fake tan.
"I was just dancing around and then I bumped into someone I knew and it was really embarrassing."
