Geri Halliwell has reportedly said her latest romance has been 'a whirlwind'
Geri Halliwell has opened up about her romance with Russell Brand, revealing it has been "a whirlwind".
The Spice Girl and the comedian have apparently been dating since they met at the closing ceremony of the Olympics and according to the Metro, Geri has now confirmed their budding romance.
The 40-year-old said: "Yes. It's been a whirlwind."
However, it seems Russell will have to prove himself to the singer as she admitted she is "choosy" when it comes to picking a boyfriend.
She said: "All I want is to be in a loving relationship. Is he my ideal man? I'm choosy. I want someone who's trustworthy, sweet and kind."
It has been reported that Geri and Russell went on a romantic picnic on London's Hampstead Heath for their first date shortly after the Olympics ended. They have also apparently bonded over their shared love of yoga.
Geri ended her three-year romance with aristocratic ex-boyfriend Henry Beckwith last September, while 37-year-old Russell's divorce from Katy Perry was finalised earlier this year.
