Kim Kardashian doesn't qualify for a Hollywood star
Kim Kardashian has apparently been denied a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who is dating rapper Kanye West, told V magazine that she wants to "break the mould" that prevents the Hollywood chamber of commerce from granting reality stars the honour.
But it seems Kim won't be getting a star because she isn't eligible.
A representative from Tinseltown's chamber of commerce told The Hollywood Reporter: "Part of the criteria in being honoured is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars, etc in the category of television, live-stage performance or motion pictures.
"They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more."
While Kim is a reality TV star, the brunette has only had small cameos in shows like Drop Dead Diva and 30 Rock and films including Disaster Movie.
