Big Brother's first ever winner Craig Phillips has still not watched himself on the show more than 10 years after walking out of the house with the prize money.

The 40-year-old, who became a mainstay of television DIY shows after winning in 2000, said he never had the time to sit down and watch it.

Appearing on Radio 4's The Reunion, Craig said: "I still haven't even watched the programme, Big Brother One, I was given about 80 or 90 VHS tapes when I got home."

He told presenter Sue MacGregor: "When I came out of the house I don't think I went home for 97 days and then by the time I did it got to Christmas and I had a very little bit of time with my family then I was starting back out to work again.

"I heard everyone else's interpretation from the public to radio presenters and TV presenters telling me their version of the edit so I saw it through everybody else's eyes."

The documentary brings together some of the stars of the show including Anna Nolan and Nick Bateman and is broadcast at 11.15 on Sunday morning.
