Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson have reportedly been asked to take part in a Dawson's Creek reunion with fellow former co-star James Van Der Beek.
Joshua recently revealed on Canadian talk show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight that he had received a catch-up call from old friend Katie following her split from Tom Cruise.
Now In Touch magazine is reporting that Katie called Joshua to talk about the planned Dawson's Creek reunion on James' new TV show, Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23, when the series returns this month.
A source told the mag: "Josh called to see if Katie had gotten a call from James Van Der Beek to do a Dawson's reunion on his new show."
The insider added "Obviously one didn't want to do it without the other. But they're too busy. They have a million things going on in their careers. James was bummed."
James, Joshua, Katie and Michelle Williams all starred as friends Dawson, Pacey, Joey and Jen in hit teen show Dawson's Creek between 1998 and 2003.
Cougar Town star Busy Phillips, who played Pacey's girlfriend Audrey, is due to reunite with James in the new season of Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23 later this month and James admitted he'd love the others to join them.
He told E! News: "I'd love to have them all together, all of them at the same time. Because they all have such great senses of humour and I'd love to put that together."
