Charlotte Jaconelli and Jonathan Antoine are enjoying chart success with their debut album
Britain's Got Talent singers Jonathan and Charlotte have revealed they celebrated the success of their debut album with an impromptu curry party.
The classical cross-over pair's first record Together peaked in the album chart at number five, and remains in the top 10.
"It wasn't meant to be a party, just a curry around at my house. But gradually more and more people turned up and it turned into a party but with curry. So everyone was eating curry and Jonathan and I were in the background," she said.
"There were probably around 45 to 50 people. It was a good night and the food was great. It ended being better than the planned party. We should have another one!"
Soprano Charlotte said she was still astounded by the record's success.
"I haven't even got over it yet. It's so cool. I didn't think we would ever be up there with like Muse and Pink. I'm on top of the world," she admitted.
Her tenor singing sidekick Jonathan Antoine added: "I feel incredibly excited. It's really strange, I had no expectations."
