Khloe Kardashian is to help host The X Factor in the US
Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez are officially joining The X Factor in the US.
The Extra host and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians co-star will host the second season of the Fox talent competition.
The network said that Mario and Khloe will first appear as hosts during the show's live broadcasts beginning in November.
X Factor judge and executive producer Simon Cowell called the announcement "the worst kept secret in Hollywood".
British television personality Steve Jones served as the show's host for the first season.
The addition of Mario and Khloe is the latest shift for the under-performing singing content.
Britney Spears and Demi Lovato joined Simon and LA Reid on the X Factor judging panel for the second season. The pair replaced Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
