A dog owner has remortgaged her home so she can offer a £10,000 reward for the safe return of her missing pet.
Dawn Maw, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, said her four-year-old prize-winning German shorthaired pointer Angel was stolen last month.
The 42-year-old said Angel was bundled into a white Transit-type van after she had been walking her dogs in a park.
Speaking on ITV's Daybreak, Mrs Maw said she had "no idea" why anyone would take Angel, who is spayed and cannot be used for breeding.
"She's a big member of the family," she said.
"We spent a lot of time together. My whole social life revolved around doing things with Angel, whether it was showing, she was a working dog...
"We just need her back. The house is empty.
"The thought of someone watching you and taking a member of your family is quite scary."
Mrs Maw, who is married with one child and works for the Department for Work and Pensions, said she has spent a further £3,000 on advertising for her pet's safe return.
