Teenager dies in police chase crash

A teenager died in a car crash during a police chase, officers have said.
The 19-year-old man was killed late on Monday night following the pursuit of a red Ford Fiesta.
Thames Valley Police have referred his death to the Independent Police Complaints Commission for investigation.
Part of the A33 in Reading, Berkshire, was closed on Tuesday morning following the crash which happened at around 11.25pm.
Acting Superintendent Henry Parsons, from the joint roads policing unit, said: "A 19-year-old man, believed to be from the Fiesta, sadly lost his life in the collision.
"We have referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission."
Motorists were warned of potential travel problems in the area.
The A33 is expected to remain shut between Rose Kiln Lane and Barclay Avenue on Tuesday morning.
