A former care worker has been charged with committing seven serious sexual assaults.

West Midlands Police said Dauda Kamara, 45, is alleged to have committed the offences while employed as a carer for a private company.

A force spokesman said Kamara, of Charles Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, has been bailed to appear before magistrates in Dudley on Wednesday.

The offences - one count of rape and six of sexual assault - are alleged to have taken place between 2008 and 2013.
