England kept faith with the same side as they sought to level their NatWest Twenty20 series against South Africa at Old Trafford.

That meant another opportunity for out-of-form Ravi Bopara, whose position has been the subject of scrutiny after a series of low scores since his season was interrupted by unspecified personal problems in July.

South Africa were also unchanged after opening the three-match series with victory at the Emirates Durham ICG on Saturday. Light drizzle led to the pitch briefly being covered half an hour before the scheduled start and the toss was delayed, but the day-night match still looked set to begin on time, with England choosing to bowl after winning the toss.
