ELECTIONS will soon be held to choose councillors to represent the people of Wiltshire.
Soon after these elections four years ago, Wiltshire Council proposed the introduction of much higher parking charges in Salisbury.
It would be interesting today to be informed how our local representatives cast their votes in council at that time.
For example, did they discharge their duty to represent fairly the views of their constituents, many of whom regularly drive to Salisbury, spend their money in the shops and park their cars?
Or did they not?
I also wonder how many of them have overstayed their time on the local council, but that’s another matter.
