I WOULD like to thank Salisbury City Hall for the wonderful show put on by Mario Kombou and his crew on March 8.

His resemblance to the late great Elvis Presley was remarkable. The suits were glamorous and I had to shake my head to remind myself that Mario wasn’t really Elvis.

I was amazed, and very pleased, that the audience was mostly made up of pensioners, mixed with some youngsters in their 20s and 30s. It was great to see us old folk are still lively enough to be living the dream.

It was a good evening and at the end people were up and dancing. Elvis would have been proud.

Well done to Mario, his crew and the City Hall.
