I REFER to Mr Grinter’s letter with regard to the toilet window overlooking his property from the church hall in College Road, Durrington (Postbag, April 24).
I come from Durrington, and over 50 years ago went to the Girl Guides every week at the church hall and many other events held there.
I feel that Mr Grinter should have done a better recce of his property, as the church hall has been there many, many years.
When functions are taking place in the hall, could Mr Grinter not put a net curtain across his window?
I feel it’s a case of which came first – the church hall or Mr Grinter.
DO Fay, Pewsey
