EVERY year all my family arrives for the Downton Cuckoo Fair.
We spend the day together, enjoying all parts of the fair.
But not this year.
If you had children below 10 years of age then there was nothing for them.
No little rides, no bouncy castles, no entertainers, in fact the provision for them was disgusting.
Every year the Cuckoo Fair has provided entertainment for all ages, but not this time.
The organisers should look at the way this year’s event was planned and think very carefully about next year.
I have spoken to a lot of people who attended this year’s event and they feel the same.
As a resident of Downton I have been proud of the fair, but this year I was embarrassed.
