IN the May 1 edition of the Journal Rosemary Wyatt said that her cathedral trip was ruined by the disabled parking charge in the Close.

Salisbury Shopmobility, a Wiltshire Council service, situated underneath Sainsbury's and opposite the City Hall, can help.

For just £3 per day you can hire a scooter, powerchair or wheelchair to take you across the city so you can continue to enjoy all the lovely things the Close has to offer.

We are open from 9.30am to 4.30pm and parking with your blue badge in Wiltshire Council-run car parks is free for three hours in a disabled bay, and all day in an unmarked bay.
