MANY thanks to Balfour Beatty for providing the mini-beasts with a wonderful habitat in which to live and reproduce.
Their failure to deliver the Wiltshire Council grass cutting contract has also resulted in a reduction in air and noise pollution, as well as saving fossil fuels.
What really needs attention is the collection of roadside rubbish; much more of an eyesore and a danger to us all.
