I FOUND a ladies’ bicycle on Friday, June 27 and have had no luck in finding the owner.
It has been either abandoned or stolen and left leaning on a wall in Lower Bemerton.
I phoned the police on the Saturday morning and they confirmed it had been reported to them as missing. As I heard nothing more from them I phoned again a week later but they had no record of any missing bike. The bike looks like it is used regularly and is probably missed. It's a Dawes make, Mojave model. The colour is very distinctive, which is how the owner could identify it.
