How very pleasant to be able to stroll along the road and through the main entrance gate to the Cathedral without having to dodge oncoming cars and try to find a safe spot on the overcrowded narrow pavement.
May the "powers-that-be" now decide quickly to make the new arrangement permanent, with St Ann Gate becoming the main entrance for vehicles at all times, not merely certain times of the day.
