With reference to your headline – Danger Zone – on August 21.
As far as I am aware all the accidents on this bridge are when leaving Salisbury.
The 30mph group are clamouring for a change to the road layout. I have noticed an increase in accidents on the London side of the bridge, the double bend sign is almost obscured by ivy.
Would it not have been possible for either the 30mph group or even councillor Bill Moss to have either removed or arranged for the ivy to be removed rather than just providing an article of the problems associated with the bridge.
Many warning and direction signs throughout the country are obscured by foliage. If I can find the time to cut back some of it in my parish, I am sure others can look after their own patch.
