Older people need services
Councillor James Robertson shows what seems to be a fairly typical politician's lack of understanding about advancing years (Retirement home plan for former bus station, Journal August 28).
Older people often think of moving closer to the essential services we need, not further away into his idyllic “leafy suburbs”.
Or maybe he thinks "out of sight, out of mind” is the right policy for those of us “aged 60 or over”.
