I am writing in despair at the filthy pavements in the city, the Market Place and seats in the town centre.
The pavement and seats outside the chicken takeaway in New Canal are covered in grease and goodness knows what the black marks are on the new paving in the Market Place. It would appear there is no pride in Salisbury in keeping things clean and tidy. I am ashamed to be living here and feel sad and sorry that things have come to this.
Can we please have a street cleaning machine that washes the pavements and cleans dirty seats?
I have travelled to many busy cities in the past and many are cleaned and washed overnight. Why can't we do the same?
