I HAVE had Mears Care (Salisbury Journal, September 11) for my father Harry Emm for about two years now and the care that he received from them was completely outstanding.

The carer Simon Bridges was so dedicated to his job of looking after my father and I cannot fault them.

Every single morning everything was ready for Simon to start his job, even down to a coffee mug all ready for him because I believe that if you have a happy workforce it is good for business.

However, if you start to change all their areas and routines it can make your staff unhappy.

Now my father has gone into respite for a few weeks and Mears are no longer going to take him back on, which is a shame.

If you have good workers like Simon, look after them as their service is valuable.

Simon, Kristy, Conner – all their care was good.
