ANNIE Riddle is usually complaining about decisions affecting us in the south of the county being made “remotely” in Trowbridge.
However, in a sudden about turn, she now complains that decisions about youth services are now to be made locally by our area boards.
She can’t have it both ways.
Does she support local decision-making or not?
If so, why can’t she bring herself to applaud Wiltshire Council’s brave move to devolve decisions on youth activities – and accompanying budgets – to locally-elected councillors?
