I AM writing to complain most strongly about the actions of the Stagecoach driver at Britford park-and-ride around midday on Wednesday, November 5.
No sooner had I retrieved my bus pass from the shelf than the driver accelerated so fast it catapulted me, plus walking stick, at least two metres across the floor.
I grabbed the upright rail and landed on a seat.
There was an audible gasp from the other passengers.
I did not complain to the driver as people were in a hurry to get off.
It was not until my return to the park-and-ride that, going up the steps, that my back gave out.
I have spent four days resting on the settee and, on the fifth day, went for a gentle walk - it is still not right but, hopefully, it will improve. At 85-years-old, I could well do without this discomfort.

A spokesman for Stagecoach said: "We were very sorry to hear of his incident and would ask Mr Stoddart to contact us directly when he is able so we can find out more information and look into what happened on this occasion."
