LAST week’s preview of Is There a Doctor in the House? at Salisbury Playhouse awarded me an honorary doctorate.
I should point out that I am not a doctor, either in or out of the house.
As chairman of the Friends of Salisbury Playhouse, I’m delighted to be working with several real doctors in devising the entertainment in aid of the Playhouse and the Stars Appeal.
In addition to those mentioned as performing on the evening of January 18, we are also very pleased that the actors Sonia Woolley, Tim Treslove and Leander Deeny (whose photograph was included in the preview) will be taking part.
