HOW time just flies by.
Philip Hutchings, Alan Rallings and I founded the Orange Oblivion Mobile Disco in the early 1970s and we would play numerous records of that time, and those from the 60s, including Dave Dee, Dozy, Mick & Tich.
It is always very sad, when you read that a band member has died from any group of that era.
It makes you realise that you are getting old. I will be 62 in February.
The Orange Oblivion was reprieved in the 1990s by one of my own sons, but that did not last. I had to cancel a number of bookings.
The disco equipment would fill a Ford Transit Van. You could almost say, it was not all that mobile. It was hard work.
