WORK is starting to create pedestrian and cyclist shared-use paths where Wain-a-Long Road and St Mark's Avenue join St Mark’s roundabout.
As cyclists are rarely seen at these junctions, money would have been better spent resolving the difficulty in emerging from these roads.
Traffic has to seize the few seconds available when both streams of traffic are stopped by traffic lights. The present situation arises from a conflict of priorities between the Highways Authority and Wiltshire Council.
