Incorrect city coat of arms
SALISBURY City Council is publishing and showing on council vehicles an incorrect city coat of arms, as only four blue horizontal bars, representing the rivers in and around Salisbury.
There should be five: the Ebble, Wylye, Nadder, Bourne and Avon.
There are even sports facilities around the city called Five Rivers.
The correct example can be seen on the sign at the Salisbury Arms public house in Endless Street.
